Chef Dakota of Kamu Siapa Kitchen will be taking our tempeh for an epic joy ride across the archipelago. Think banana leaf-wrapped herby pepes tempeh, deep fried mendoan with sweet soy sambal, and towers of yellow rice, to name a few. Extra vibes: think 70s Indo bad boys with feathered hair blasting psychedelia before hopping on their motorbikes to grab a late night snack from their local grobak.
This family-style, prix-fixe lesehan dinner (sitting on cushions eating off banana leaves) will be outdoors in a beautiful backyard garden in Oakland.
